In 1991, Gerry opened the doors of this fine Regency town house guest house in the heart of Brighton's gay village with all the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurants, clubs and bars that it is famous for, and has been welcoming the gay community to his fine guest house ever since. Coward's is dressed with unique art and antiques that complement its feel of timeless elegance and charm. The bedrooms are bright, airy, immaculately present and well equipped with television, generous hospitality tray, fridge and radio alarm, and how civilised to be able to take

Gerry is a lovable character, excellent host and a mine of information regarding all the gay scene and special not-so-well-known places to visit in Brighton, and Gerry can provide concessions to his guests for some fabulous gay clubs and saunas in Brighton. Guest and the City is a small beautifully styled boutique guest house with seven fabulous en-suite bedrooms. Brian and Tom the owners are two of the friendliest and hospitable guys you are ever likely to meet. In the heart of Kemp Town they have created a wonderful guest house with beautiful rooms that include a wicked four-poster, the fabulous Imperial Room and an away-from-it-all double that has a cheeky view of the sea over the rooftops. The bedrooms are superbly fitted with flat screen TVs with Freeview and DVD, digital radios, a fridge to chill your wine and even a cork-screw and glasses, and lots of panache. How civilised - there is not a trace of self-service canteen breakfasts here. They are just fabulous.
